This is Our Story

John and Amy Miller have always loved serving God. For years, John ran his own roofing company in Washington, Pennsylvania, and served with his wife in worship ministry at their church. But God had something else in mind. In 2008, John felt the call to sell his roofing company and go into full time ministry. In 2009, He and Amy planted Life Church (originally New Life Washington) and started having services at Trinity High School. Today, Life Church is a thriving community of faith at the corner of Chestnut and Main street in downtown Washington.

John’s single focus is to encounter more of the Father. Whether through presence worship, kingdom culture, or power filled preaching, John desires to see Christ manifest in the lives of His people, and for the Holy Spirit to have full reign in their lives.

Amy has a passion to see the prophetic reach maturity and to be given full expression in the Church, that the body of Christ might be raised up to the full measure of the stature of Christ. She is a gifted teacher with a powerful declarative ministry, releasing the truth of God’s word, and bringing the heavenly future into the here and now.

John and Amy have nine grandchildren, and are overjoyed to partner with their four sons in ministry to the greater Washington County region.
